Internews Pakistan's five-member training team runs a range of programs for journalism students and media professionals across the country. We provide journalism, technical and management training to newly independent FM radio stations. Our aim is to help support a professional, vibrant and sustainable industry. Ideally, that industry should provide diverse news and information to citizens, empowering them to make their voices heard and to participate effectively in their communities. The Internews training team is a made up of a diverse group of people from very different backgrounds - from Pakistan to Australia to Saudi Arabia. They speak English, Arabic, Pashto, Hindko and Urdu. They are experts in journalism training and technical production. The team is also responsible for building radio stations. In their spare time, two team members are rock musicians and another is a poet. |
