	MEDIA DIRECTORY - MEDIA WATCH

	As part of the Media Resource Centre's work towards lobbying for improvement in Pakistan 's media law policy environment and developing resources for media stakeholders, particularly licensed broadcasters, Internews has started work on a unique media directory. This directory is a continually expanding resource, and a one-stop point for data regarding the Pakistani media.

	Currently Media Watch has three sections:

	Media Map
	This media map is a graphical analysis mapping out the status of the various media in Pakistan. From these graphs, one can clearly see the growth of educational and commercial TV / Radio as well as overall industry growth.

	This is Pakistan's first ever media directory, and contains not just contact details for those radio and satellite TV stations that are on air, but also details regarding their license, when each station began their broadcast, and FM Station transmission range.
