Attack on Peshawar Press Club

Club concerned over delay in arrest of PML workers

A hurriedly called meeting of the Peshawar Press Club (PPC) general body was chaired by Syed Bukhar Shah, president PPC, and was attended by a large number of members, wherein they decided to continue their protest till the arrest of culprits. The meeting was informed the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists had announced countrywide protest Thursday against the violation of sanctity of the press club.

SDPI seminar on media challenges: Speakers for safety of journalists

Condemning threats and use of violence against media persons, journalists have called on the authorities to provide them with conducive working atmosphere for exercising the freedom of expression right. Speaking at here at a seminar on ‘Pakistani Media: Challenges and Threats', organised by Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) Monday, they demanded that the government should respect the right of expression and ensure safety for journalists in all parts of Pakistan, especially tribal areas.

Speakers at a seminar here on Monday held the government responsible for the growing threats to the lives of journalists covering the war on terror in the tribal areas and conflict in Balochistan. FM LISTENING: Rock n Roll

The best way to snake out of the boredom of everyday life is to spend time in listening music. Summer and winter vacations are the only time of the year when students are free and can afford to listen to music from sources like radio FM. Therefore they put on the television with Bismillah and with the national anthem they say Allah Hafiz to it. Then the turn of Fm radio comes.
