Revival of cinema

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's appeal to the film industry's representatives, during a meeting with them, to produce quality movies will only materialise if the old guard of the Pakistani cinema are willing to make way for a younger generation of promising film-makers to come through. Mainstream cinema has been stagnating in Pakistan for some time now.

Women ministry launches media drive
