Journalist tortured, put in private jail
A feudal lord (wadera) kidnapped a journalist with the help of police and locked him up in his private jail after brutally torturing him as he had refused to marry his sister off with the wadera.

Rs 300m for journalist colony
Punjab Accountant General has released a sum of Rs 300 million for Journalists Colony as a supplementary grant. The funds have been released following the Information Culture and Youth Affairs Department letter dated March 25.
