IFJ Welcomes journalist's release |

The International Federation of Journalist(IFJ)has welcomed the release of Muhammad Asif Nang, Editor-in-chief of the Peace Jirga magazine.
In a statement released here, the journalist body demanded of government to provide a legally justified explaination for his detention.

AIOU to start test radio transmission today |
| |
The Allama Iqbal Open Universty is going to launch its FM radion station
"VOICE OF AIOU" intially from Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The frequency allocated to AIOU FM station is 91.3MHz. Initially the
transmission of "VOICE OF AIOU" will be on air for four hours six days a week.
